2. What personal data we collect
- Identification and contact data (full name, email address, phone number) that you provide through our contact and booking forms.
- Booking details: the tour or experience selected, date, number of participants, ages where relevant for discounted rates, and any special requirements you choose to share with us, such as mobility needs or dietary restrictions relevant to a food-related tour.
- Payment information, processed directly by our payment provider; we do not store your full card details on our own systems.
- Communications you send us by email, WhatsApp, or through our enquiry forms.
- Newsletter subscription data (your email address), if you choose to subscribe.
- Technical and usage data collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies when you browse our website (see Section 7).
3. Why we collect it, and our legal basis
- To process and manage your booking and to deliver the tour or workshop you purchased (performance of a contract).
- To respond to your enquiries, before or after booking (legitimate interest / pre-contractual measures).
- To send you our newsletter and promotional communications, only if you have opted in (consent, which you may withdraw at any time).
- To comply with our tax, accounting, and administrative obligations (legal obligation).
- To keep our website secure and to understand how it is used (legitimate interest, or consent for non-essential cookies).
4. How long we keep it
We keep booking and contract-related data for the duration of our relationship with you and, afterwards, for the period required by Italian tax and accounting law (generally ten years for accounting records). Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. Enquiry data that does not lead to a booking is generally kept for no longer than 24 months, unless a longer period is needed to handle a dispute or complaint.
5. Who we share it with
- Payment service providers, who process payments on our behalf under their own security standards.
- IT and website hosting providers, who store data on our behalf under data processing agreements.
- Tour guides and artisan partners directly involved in delivering the experience you booked, limited to the information they need to run the tour (such as your name and group size).
- Public authorities, where this is required by law.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
6. International data transfers
Some of our service providers (for example, cloud hosting or email marketing platforms) may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where this happens, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, or an adequacy decision covering the destination country.
7. Cookies and similar technologies
Our website uses cookies that are necessary for its technical functioning and, where you have given your consent, analytics and marketing cookies that help us understand how the site is used and improve it. You can review or withdraw your consent at any time through the cookie preference settings available in the website footer (“Cookies Preference”).

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or alteration, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls on our systems, and periodic review of our security practices. No system can be completely free of risk, but we work continuously to keep your data as safe as possible.

Our tours and services are intended for adults who book on their own behalf and, where relevant, on behalf of any accompanying minors. We do not knowingly collect personal data directly from children without the involvement of a parent or legal guardian.
10. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- request that inaccurate data be corrected;
- request that your data be erased, where applicable;
- restrict or object to certain types of processing;
- receive, in a portable format, the data you provided to us;
- withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

11. Complaints

We may update this Privacy Statement from time to time, for example to reflect changes in our services or in the law. The “last updated” date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised, and we encourage you to review it periodically.
