Step into the artistic soul of Naples and surrender to an experience that feels less like a tour and more like rediscovering the wonder of being a child. This is not just something you see. It’s something you touch, shape, and live. We carefully crafted this small-group journey where art, hands, and heart come together, for those who want to understand a city, not just pass through it.

We begin at Piazza del Gesù, where our guide welcomes you into the living story of the city. From here, over the course of an hour on foot through the ancient Greek streets of the centro storico, sculpture reveals itself at every corner. Silent yet expressive, telling stories carved in stone.

We then step inside Sant’Angelo a Nilo, a quiet church in a quiet alley, to stand before one of the earliest masterpieces of the Italian Renaissance: a funerary monument carved in part by Donatello himself, commissioned in 1426 and shipped by sea from Pisa.

We pause at the ancient statue of the Nile, a reclining river god placed here by Alexandria’s merchants two thousand years ago and later adopted by the Neapolitans as a symbol of the city itself.

We walk through Via San Gregorio Armeno, past the tourist stalls to the workshops where artisans still hand-model figures in terracotta using techniques passed down since the 18th century. This is craft as living tradition.

We end at the Chiesa dei Girolamini, where Pietro Bernini, father of the man who would reshape the entire aesthetic of Roman Baroque, left some of his finest work. The young Gian Lorenzo grew up in Naples, watched his father carve in rooms like these. The inheritance of a craft, passed from hand to hand.

Then, the experience transforms.

You’ll step inside the intimate studio of a working Neapolitan artist, where the atmosphere shifts from observation to creation. He will share his story and his craft before you begin. Then your hands meet raw clay. Cool, soft, alive. You’ll shape it, mold it, and watch it respond to your gestures, rediscovering the primal joy of creating something from nothing.

From modelling to glazing, every movement becomes part of a tactile dialogue between you and the material. A glass of wine accompanies this moment, turning the studio into a space of true conviviality, where conversation flows, creativity awakens, and time seems to slow down.
